In order to have liability coverage, insurance, etc. we were chartered July 28, 1977 by the Family Motor Coach Assn.

We publish a newsletter four times a year and we try to hold several rallies annually. We try to have a rally before the two FMCA national conventions held in the winter and summer in various parts of the country. We also hold some area rallies to enable more members to attend at other times of the year. We've had one in northern Indiana the end of May for the past 10+ years and sometimes have one in Ouartzite AZ in February.

Our rallies and newsletters are wonderful sources of maintenance help in keeping our 'orphan' coaches on the road. The "newest" Superior is now more than 25 years old and as parts become more difficult to obtain, the resources of our members can prove invaluable.

We are still 80% present or former Superior owners. Those who changed make of motor home [often to their sorrow!) were allowed to remain as members and friends of members have been permitted to join.

Because we were chartered by the FMCA, it was required to join them in order to became a member of our Chapter. But we realize not everyone is interested in joining such a large organization - even tho their magazine alone is worth their membership dues. We have just recently decided that we will have an associate membership designation for those wishing to belong only to our Chapter. We want to keep track of as many Superior coaches as we can. (This is also allowing those who no longer have a motor home but want to remain a member and receive our newsletter etc, to do so.)
